About Hunter Horsfall

Professional experience comes in many ranges, and though still young, I have been exposed to work as event staff, as an independent worker representing a company, and as a barista at the gelateria and gelato cocktail lounge, Gelazzi. At my first job I worked at one of the biggest gymnastic gyms in Colorado. There I was tasked with work that could range from keeping watch over 60 or more children on the gymnasium floor to cleaning and mopping party rooms and equipment. My last job prior to employment at Gelazzi, was with Fish Window Cleaning, and being a window washer means doing your own work. In the field of window washing, attention to detail is paramount, as in an invoice based system, I was paid for both the quantity, and quality of work I did. I was employed by Fish Window Cleaning, and in turn washed windows for a wide range of establishments, including Pei Wei (The quick casual spinoff of P.F. Changs), Ulta, Chick-Fil-A, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 1stBank, and many other esteemed establishments. Working at Fish was thoroughly enjoyable, both for the skills I learned and the people I worked with. My job at Gelazzi began roughly the same time as my college career. At the gelataria, I've learned the basics of preparing gelato, while also learning to multitask in a fast paced environment, prepare cocktails, and in some cases prepare the gelato itself. My personal mission, in any interaction with customers, is to create a positive experience and help them to leave the establishment I'm representing better off than when they arrived. Specialties: TIPS Certification-I received TIPS Certification while employed by Gelazzi. Mixology Certification- I recently undertook a course teaching the basics of drink preparation, liquors and wines, customer service and the legal elements of serving alcohol in a bar-type environment, receiving certification as a,"Qualified Mixologist", from the Bartending Academy at Colorado Springs
