About Hunter Jordan

I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, Haslam College of Business majoring in Management, Leadership, and Organizational Effectiveness with a collateral in Supply Chain Management. I work in harmony with people from many backgrounds in constantly changing environments. For example, at my job at Lowes, I work in the garden center which during the spring and summer is a very fast-paced environment with people from many backgrounds. I excel at being able to adapt to different environments. For example, when Covid-19 hit the United States, we saw the workplace change like it never had before. I think I adapted to the changes rather well. I find myself to be a relator as well. Back to my job at Lowes, I find it easy to connect with people who are very different from me, which makes the workplace much more enjoyable. Being restorative is also something I strive to be. I think that this says that I deal with high-stress situations well.I am seeking to find a full time job after graduation this summer. Along with that, I hope to keep making valuable connections and learning so I can be prepared as I can upon graduation. After college, I hope to keep obtaining knowledge either through graduate school or gaining valuable experience in the workforce. I want to pursue a career in logistics or operations. I need to work for a company that allows me to grow and expand my knowledge in different sectors of business. My final goal is to be genuinely happy and interested in my career.
