About Hunter Martin

Hunter is a Audit Manager in the FORVIS Houston office. He provides audit and assurance services primarily for manufacturing and distribution clients, but has served in various industries, including retail, construction/contracting, trucking, technology, financial institutions, and professional service industries. In his five years of experience he has served as the in-charge/manager over many engagements for companies that are private-equity backed, companies that are majority owned by employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), and companies that have other private ownership structures. He has had extensive involvement on numerous first year engagements as well as provided services in relation to complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring/refinancing, stock option issuance/modification, and adoption of new accounting standards. He currently serves as the LeaseVision Champion in the Houston Office and helps companies to implement the new Lease Standard (ASC 842).
