About Hunter McCloud

With over four years of work experience in policy, administration, and customer service, I am passionate about advancing the public interest and serving the people of Tennessee. I am currently pursuing a JD degree at Belmont University College of Law, where I hope to gain the legal knowledge and skills to advocate for others. I am also committed to contributing to the civic and academic community, as evidenced by my involvement in various student organizations and volunteer activities. My most recent role was as a Policy Assistant for the Tennessee Secretary of State, where I supported the Secretary in planning and organizing events and travel, managing special constituent services, executing special projects, and conducting personal correspondence. I traveled with the Secretary to meetings and events across the state, traveling to most of Tennessee's 95 counties. I also leveraged my skills in administration and customer experience to ensure the efficiency and quality of the office operations and the satisfaction of the Secretary and the public. I held this position from September 2021 until August 2022, when I left to pursue my JD degree.
