About Hunter Sullivan

I have 13 years of background in construction. As for aspirations, I would like to make a difference in local communities. First by encouraging the improvement of existing structures and maintaining our region's historical infrastructure. I would also like to be part of and see an increase in family housing to stimulate the growth of our communities. My favorite project right now has to be the Walmart Campus work because it is so large and diverse it offers new challenges. My favorite project that I've ever been involved with was either the time I helped rebuild a decaying old deck for a Gold Star Widow in California, or the school building we repaired in Nepal after the massive earthquakes in Asia. I love to be a part of construction, seeing the projects that are happening and supplying the materials that we are building the future with. I spent a lot of time recycling as a teenager, as well as lawn mowing and site clean ups. I’ve always been a go do it kind of guy, working for my self. I have a high entrepreneurial spirit, and I always do the best I can at every job. I joined the military at 18, and learned a whole bunch of tactical skills and so forth. I’ve spent my entire adult life in the military learning how to lead, on various overseas deployments, and even just at home base. I learned a lot of carpentry skills as well as construction being an engineer in the military. A lot of people come to me to get the job done. I would consider my self intuitive and an outside the box thinker. I didn’t add minesweeping to my skills, because I’m not sure who could find that useful, but that’s a skill of mine too.
