About Hunter Sweat

I am a result of the environment around the “if you don’t go to college you will never amount to anything” mindset. At 18 years old I had a shovel in my hands and boots in the dirt. For 15 years I have shown I am a self motivator and capable of more than my current role. As a now project manager, I am very appreciative and thankful for my 8-5, 5 day a week job. I will never forget the 12 hour days, 7 days a week, gone for 6 months at a time that my family and I endured to get here. My drive and passion is recognizing the hard working men and women doing manual labor in any industry. I strive to lead for change in the ways these individuals are compensated, treated, rewarded and shown their worth. I try to accomplish that by working with my peers in management and offering a different perspective than the more traditional white collar industry. The trades industry is about to undergo a massive labor shortage that most can’t grasp. I hope through both my professional and personal relationships I can make a small impact on helping influence the next generation of trades men and women by showing how valuable the individuals in these roles are now.
