About Hursh Dodia

Through my academic journey in Fitness and Health Promotion at Seneca College and hands-on work in both clinical and fitness environments, I have built a strong foundation in exercise science, rehabilitation, and client care. As a Personal Trainer Assistant at Free Bird Gym, I support lead trainers in designing and implementing customized fitness programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring clients perform exercises safely and effectively. My role also involves providing motivation, monitoring progress, and maintaining a positive training environment.In my time as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Muscle & Movement Rehab and Karen Physio Clinic, I worked closely with physiotherapists to assist clients in rehabilitation exercises, educate them on home programs, document treatment progress using the Jane App, and maintain organized, safe treatment spaces. These roles strengthened my technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to varying client needs.Additionally, my work with the Seneca Student Federation, first as Event Staff and later as Event Supervisor sharpened my leadership, teamwork, and event coordination skills through planning and executing student-focused activities that enhanced campus life.These combined experiences have given me a diverse skill set in program design, client communication, rehabilitation support, and leadership, enabling me to contribute effectively to both health-focused and community-based roles.
