I am currently training in Motor City spare parts department. Learning about the whole operation: 1- Market analysis: Increase the awareness about the company’s services. Plus, comparing different types of brands with similar cars types, which helps in adjusting the prices. 2- Inventory planning: Using oracle and excel sheets to track the inventory stock and what needs to be imported. Also contacting the manufacturers and arranging shipment methods. 3- Warehouse operations: Stocking, arranging and packaging the items; which are for domestic sales and bulk sales. 4- Sales operations: Using oracle program and EPCs (electronic parts catalogues) in order to find and sell the items for the customers. Also contacting big companies for bulk sales (wholesales). 5- Service center: Providing various services for the cars. Where they fix or replace the consumable parts or damaged/nonfunctional parts.
