A bilingual Events Management Specialist with over 15 years of experience in event planning and project management across corporate, private, and government sectors. I have a solid track record of delivering successful in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, leveraging my expertise in logistics, hospitality, tourism, and marketing. My career has been driven by a passion for crafting memorable experiences through events, backed by skills in contract negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, budgeting, and event staff training. Currently, I work at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities as an Events Planner, where I lead and oversee event logistics, liaise with suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure flawless execution. Prior to this, I held key roles at Public Policy Forum and Unconventional Planning Inc, where I shaped policies, trained teams, and managed end-to-end event processes. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Event Management from Humber College, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Technology, Mauritius. My career started in the hospitality industry, including roles such as Food and Beverage Coordinator and Air Hostess in Mauritius. Known for my dynamic, results-driven approach, I excel at leading event teams and building strategic relationships with stakeholders. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new trends in event technology and continuously improving my skills.
