I have 22 yrs experience within Operational Policing. I am Currently working within the management of Sex and Violent offenders unit as a Detective Constable. Daily I am evidencing and implementing Knowledge of safeguarding, Public Protection, a high level of communication and conflict resolution skills, investigation skills and the use of digital forensics for the collection of evidential material. I am very passionate and work tirelessly to keep the public safe from child sexual abusers, those who access indecent images of children online, Sexual offences against females and other such Crimes. I have plenty of interesting experiences of managing convicted offenders. I work alongside such agencies as the Probation service and support organisations around the uk. I have extensive experience and a real passion for working with people from all different sectors and agencies having worked closely with Uk and Welsh government, international sporting bodies, international police services and also Military security specialists from around the world I have vast experience with regards to front line Policing, Public order tactical Operations and investigations at all levels. As a qualified teacher I have spent many years within Public Order and tactical training. I was the Public Order, Public safety advisor for the Champions League final in Cardiff. I have worked within covert Counter Terrorism Operations as a member of the Welsh Counter Terrorism Unit and other such covert policing activities. I have extensive Event management skills and knowledge of what is required to support the logistical effort and demand of large scale major events. I have gained this experience as a planning officer for the Olympic Games 2012 and Nato conference 2014. I am a qualified Police response driver and covert driving skills I have a city and guilds qualification in Teaching
