As a manager at Marque Impex, I oversee the merchandising and sourcing operations for leading home furnishing brands such as West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma Home. I manage a team of 5 senior merchandisers ensuring the timely and quality delivery of products, samples, and reports. I also develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, negotiating prices, contracts, and terms. I have 9 years of experience in the merchandising and sourcing industry, having worked as a senior merchandiser and a merchandiser for Marque Impex and Delta Manufacturing Company, respectively. I have a bachelor's degree in computer application from Teerthankar Mahaveer University, which enables me to use various IT tools and systems to streamline and optimize the workflow and processes. I also speak English, Arabic, and Hindi, which helps me communicate effectively with clients and suppliers from different regions and cultures.
