About Iain Fish

Currently, I am the Upper School Principal at the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) where I have worked since 2018. With nearly 30 years as an educator and over 18 years of experience in leading international schools, I am committed to fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and innovative learning environment. My leadership approach is built on empathy, collaboration, and empowering others to excel. I am an advocate for the IB’s programmes and am passionate about the transformative impact the framework, principles and philosophy afford. I actively champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, founding ISL’s DEIJ Committee and driving initiatives that build a stronger, more inclusive community. A hands-on leader with a focus on student well-being, I am dedicated to preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world by providing them with the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed.
