About Iain Hunter

I am a proud member of the First Intuition Leadership and Business Academy (LBA). There are two main elements to my role; the first is as a coach to our L3 and L5 Leadership and Management apprentices. This involves the delivery of the CMI qualification syllabus and the regular and ongoing one-to-one apprentice support. The second element is the co-creation and delivery of our Impact Skills Programme modules which focus on the introduction to, and development of, the professional skills (often referred to as soft-skills) which are so vital and yet so undervalued in the modern workplace. This includes skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership to name a few. I really enjoy teaching, and always bring enthusiasm and energy into the classroom. Before joining the LBA, I was delighted to have seen a number of our apprentices successfully through EPA for Levels 3, 4 and 7 across multiple accountancy qualifications. I've also worked on other apprenticeships over the past 9 years such as digital technology solutions, chartered manager, and investment operations. I'm based at home on the central South Coast but often work from the FI offices in London.
