About Iain Morgan
Twenty-eight years within the oil and gas industry, with 20 years engineering and operational experience in drilling & completions, workover, well testing & oilfield upstream development. Experienced with exploration, appraisal and development campaigns, including HPHT and critical sour (H2S >30%) oil and gas wells. Since completion of a MSc in Petroleum Engineering at Imperial College London in 2005, I have been employed as a Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Supervisor and Engineer with Tullow Oil, Heritage O&G, Western Zagros Resources, Qatar Petroleum, KAR Group, DNO Iraq AS, ENI & most recently Dragon Oil. Additional studies include an MBA from Imperial College London Business School, completed in 2016. Prior to drilling, my career commenced within marine seismic exploration culminating as a Chief Offshore Geophysicist. I completed a BSc in Exploration Geophysics at University College London in 1996.
