Independent since 2014 he acts as an associate for top flight consultancies and works directly with key clients. Ian joined top notch consultancy Blue Sky after 8 great years leading sales effectiveness 3M UK & Ireland. The previous six years were spent with Dell firstly as a European technical trainer and latterly as UK sales training consultant. Prior to Dell Ian sold: National Sales Accounts Manager with a fuel distributor was his last role. His sales career began in the motor trade when he left school to fund a place at college. An enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring trainer, Ian has worked extensively across the globe. He's delivered from Kyiv to New York developing sales makers and their teams in the business-to-business arena. Mindset: Bringing the Right-Brain way of thinking to our Left-Brained business world is where it's at! Behavioural change leads to the results, mindset unlocks those behaviours. Zoom/Teams: in the late 90s I introduced the cutting edge web-meeting technology from PlaceWare into EMEA (technical training). So virtual meetings are oddly familiar and the pandemic has seen me hosting webinars and "live talks" for clients from Dubai to Texas (with audiences from Shanghai to Sao Paulo). Very comfortable and engaging in the virtual space making intimate the remote.
