In this busy contract research environment I advise on technical strategy and lead complex /novel programs for inhaled drug delivery. Previous roles included line management of a team of scientists working with a range of inhalation formulations and devices. My roles involve building good relationships with our clients and delivering a high standard of work to tight timelines for products in early phase development through to commercial release. Previously I was a senior analytical chemist with over fifteen years experience in pharmaceutical R&D, at AstraZeneca. In addition to my extensive inhalation experience I have worked with other dosage forms, including oral liquids and tablets and developed competence in all industry standard analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Mass and vibrational Spectroscopy etc). With excellent communication skills proven across all levels I can work both at the heart of and lead project teams, or act as a technical consultant. I have a successful track record in authoring and reviewing technical and regulatory documents and publications. Specialties: My particular specialisms include inhalation testing ( MDI/ DPI/nasal/nebulisers), aerodynamic impaction techniques and development of bespoke automated systems for pMDI analysis
