About Ian Copestake

I have been working in a third-party insurance organization that administers benefits on behalf of the company's clients and their members since 2018. My previous company specialized in travel insurance, where as a Claims Examiner my hard work, production, and attention to detail earned the trust of my leaders and led me to review and adjudicate complex and high-dollar cases. I was also occasionally tasked with training or mentoring struggling associates, always advising that the customer journey is at the forefront of what we do and that we do this for people experiencing very difficult moments in their lives. These skills earned me an Account Management position for a high value client. In this role, I used my experience to coordinate multiple departments or teams to resolve highly escalated and sensitive cases with the best interests of the customer, my employer and my client in mind, and have found that being part of finding these types of solutions is very satisfying. I am a fast learner, a hard worker and have experience in both as a teammate and a leader in all my previous positions, and am excited for the challenges and triumphs ahead with Manion.
