About Ian Coxon

Current M.Sc. candidate pursuing a graduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. My interests are centered around answering questions relating to Earth's surface processes through the lens of trace element geochemistry. Throughout my career thus far, I have developed a well-rounded skillset relevant to the diverse nature of geoscientific employment. I have been fortunate enough to have held a wide variety of field and laboratory-based positions that have allowed me to gain experience in fields such as remote field work, laboratory QA/QC, and data interpretation. I have also worked as part of the sales staff at Canary Cycles where I've gained experience in customer relations and communications. Outside of work my time is largely spent cycling. I am an avid cyclist and mountain biker who has competed on a national/provincial level for the past 10 years.
