The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. Data, Digital and Insights (DDI) focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. The specialist groups within DDI consist of Technology Solutions and Evidence and Insights. Technology Solutions explores and employs modern technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. Evidence and Insights leads the DJCS data reporting, analytics and modelling program, outcomes measurement and evaluation services. It includes the Crime Statistics Agency and National Coronial Information System. The Test Analyst will support all testing levels, types and stages of the overall program of works, with the planning and implementation of the test verification and validation processes. Additionally, the Test Analyst role will play an integral role, under a variety of project and software development methodologies including waterfall, iterative, incremental and agile, of collaboratively ensuring the conversion of business requirements into successful tested outcomes for the business meeting agreed business quality expectations.
