With a diverse field of in-depth technical experience and a primary focus on Infrastructure services including Windows (Windows 2003/2008), storage (HP SANs, Fabric), Virtualisation (VMware 3/4), Unix, networking (primarily Cisco IOS) and a variety of scripting languages. Additional design and implementation experience for services such as Active Directory, Web (IIS / LAMP) and security products. A primary focus has been general Infrastructure management, design, consultancy and team leading. This work has included project inception (business requirements through to business justification), implementation and then management of the BAA test environment (490 servers) and leading the infrastructure team responsible for the separation of Gatwick Airport from BAA in a £30m project. This broad experience has led to a variety of roles; Technical Architect, Technical Project Management, technical policy creation and enforcement, strategic design validation and corporate tender evaluations.
