About Ian Cuthbert

I have 40 years experience in the insurance industry and have worked for international brokers in both Sydney and London. I specialise in the design and placement of construction and infrastructure insurance programs on behalf of both principals and contractors. I have been responsible for the delivery of insurance broking and risk management services to major Australian and international contractors, debt and equity participants of delivered projects, property developers and investors. I have also acted as adviser to State and Commonwealth Government departments in respect of major infrastructure projects. I am focussed on delivering outstanding risk management and transfer solutions for complex technical risks, and am passionate about the delivery of exceptional service to my clients. In I was awarded the NSW Qualified Practising Insurance Broker of the Year award by the National Insurance Brokers Association. I am currently the Chief Client Officer for Marsh’s Construction practice in the Pacific.
