I am a Mechanical Engineer and Aviation Technician with over 20 years of experience in the aviation/aeronautical industry, working with complex aircraft mechanical systems, aircraft fuselage & flight controls, and gas turbine engines such as Pratt & Whitney Rolls Royce AE1107, IAE V2500. I am adept at finding solutions to issues, whether requiring interviewing affected parties, or troubleshooting on my own initiative. My mission is to create solutions that address the technical and operational challenges faced by the company and its customers. I have authored, updated, and reviewed job instruction cards, engineering authorizations, and OEM aircraft manuals for various engine models and aircraft types. I have also provided mechanical engineering shop support and global line support for out of service and operational aircraft, including the Boeing B747-400, B767-300, B757-200, and Airbus A320 & A319. Measurable Results: Reduced engine overhaul turnaround time by over 50% at Rolls Royce. Championed project to introduce hyperlinking to job instruction cards/overhaul procedures to OEM manuals to maintain compliance, quality, and accuracy. This reduced time taken by approximately 75%. Evaluated repeated damaged caused to HP Turbine Disc by tooling during Rolls Royce RB199 engine assembly. Achieved cost reduction of over $100K per engine.
