I am currently working as a Maintenance Supervisor of Automation for Vans DC, company owned by VF Corporation. I have 16 years of experience in facility and warehouse maintenance management. I maintain and assign tasks related in repairs and preventive maintenance and breakdowns. I work with engineering and management staff that works with budgets that requires me to analyze and present projects or upgrades related to maintaining the integrity of equipment that requires consistent production flow during operating hours. I take charge of all safety and equipment training to ensure all employees are aware of risk and injuries can occur during operation of equipment and other machines that are running. Communicate and implement all safety aspects within the building to ensure safe work environment and allow fellow employees to be aware of all hazards they come across. Maintaining cleanliness and hazard free environment as well as maintaining zero initiatives with all recyclables to accomplish zero waste for the environment as a whole and for the company. Communicate with all vendors if work is needed to be repaired and order parts that require licensed technicians to complete the task. Maintain and check inventory of all parts and equipment to maintain operations during production. Maintain and train all employees on equipment that require to operate and complete their tasks in the warehouse. Maintain and log all repairs onsite on warehouse management software that is available in our facility.
