About Ian Everett

I’ve always been driven by a passion for building and creating. My journey began with formal education at Algonquin College, where I earned my diploma in Construction Engineering Technician. This laid the foundation for my career in construction and deepened my understanding of the technical and practical aspects of the trade. Over time, my desire to make a broader impact led me to explore avenues for giving back to the community. I became involved in volunteering at organizations such as Dress for Success and the Boys and Girls Club, where I learned the importance of social responsibility and the power of mentorship. This sparked a new educational pursuit in Community and Social Studies, which I pursued at both Algonquin College and George Brown College. Through these experiences, I gained a deeper understanding of how to empower individuals and strengthen communities. After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I refocused my efforts and returned to my roots in the trades, now honing my skills as an Electrical Technician. I’m currently continuing my education in this field, combining practical hands-on experience with up-to-date technical training to further enhance my expertise. Today, I bring together a unique blend of construction knowledge, social consciousness, and technical skills. I’m eager to continue growing in my career, contributing to both my community and the industries I’m passionate about.
