About Ian Fleming

I have a track record delivering change and training / mentoring programmes covering policing operations, counter terrorism investigations, public protection / crime investigations and sensitive intelligence handling. I have held various roles including a training contract in Iraq, Global Security Investigation within Novartis Pharma, mentoring the Somali Police Force Counter Terrorism Unit and Senior Leadership Team, Senior Advisor to the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) Ministry of Interior covering the Libyan Police Reform programme. Prior to this I was a senior police officer within the Metropolitan Police, where I led critical operations and managing complex high-risk situations. Throughout my time in the MPS I gained many commendations for my performance and dedication. My career has required me to analyse information quickly to make difficult decisions. I utilise this expertise to provide services and support to different organisations in the UK and internationally. I have been responsible for providing Counter Terrorism and operational training support and advisory services covering investigations, operational and strategic command, and intelligence building. I have delivered enhanced training across core policing and risk management practices including capacity and capability building, development and training.
