About Ian Gibson

I have a diverse professional background, with experience across warehousing, logistics, driving, hospitality, and social care. My time in residential childcare was particularly impactful, helping me develop strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with a wide range of professionals. These experiences have been invaluable in my current role as Assistant Manager at an electrical wholesale solar branch, where I apply these skills to drive operational efficiency and team success. Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic marathon runner and a dedicated volunteer run leader for Oswestry Olympians, where I also serve on the committee. As a husband and father of two boys, I prioritize family time and believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I’m always open to connecting with professionals in my network and welcome opportunities to collaborate, share insights, and learn from others.
