I am the Lean Specialist for West Pharmaceuticals St Austell facility, driving the business continuous improvement across all areas of the site to achieve Business Excellence supporting our customers. Previously the Business Excellence and continuous improvement Manager at SKF Bearings (Aerospace) Previously Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and the Process Optimisation Officer for material services then in operations supporting aircraft production with Leonardo Helicopters, but encompasses all end to end processes within the business. Responsible for business transformation and continuous improvement projects. Completed 23 years’ service in Military Logistics, Supply Chain and communications with the Royal Corps of Signals in a senior management position. Since 2003 I have had continuous experience within commercial businesses in middle and senior management roles within military and civil aviation OEM Part 21 manufacturing and Part 145 repair and overhaul organisations. I have been responsible a broad knowledge within all areas of a business. These include site/facility management, health and safety, Quality Management Systems, Internal auditing, logistics, HMRC compliance and much more. With an eye for detail, exceptional work ethic and a flexible and methodical approach to work, I am a self starter and work well on my own initiative in a standalone role, or within a team with the ability manage people effectively.
