Responsible for growing Fugro business portfolio globally with three US based multinational A&E / EPC companies. These clients have diverse business portfolios in energy, minerals and mining, water, buildings and facilities as well as transport infrastructure and coastal engineering. The role involves forming relationships at multi levels and transitioning from a tendering only relationship into a trusted partner, teaming on proposals and projects and in some cases joint venturing. One critical aspect of the role is to maintain contact on projects in execution and be the client advocate, resolving conflict early when necessary. Fugro have a role to play in the life cycle of a project. Consequently I can be discussing site characterization on a very early phase of a project or utilizing Fugro asset integrity applications during operation with my clients. This is a global role which involves developing a strategic approach to each client and working with regional BD teams to provide consistency of approach and contact. I am a US Citizen residing in Houston but reporting to Fugro Executive Leadership Team in our Netherlands HQ, which reflects the importance of these strategic clients to Fugro growth. My career started in The UK in the oil and gas industry. Over time I have lived and worked in The Middle East, Russia and The US and I have been exposed to many cultures and businesses as diverse as those of my clients. The achievements in this role are confidential to my clients, however Fugro are expanding the principle of key account management based on the results evident from 2019 revenue growth.
