Recently Distinguished Architect at Voysis, previously Software Engineering Manager, working for Google London, Leading the Google Text to Speech group. after successfully selling Phonetic Arts to Google in December 2010. 15 Years experience in the top level management team of four startups (peaking at 40 staff) variously as director of software engineering, director of technical operations, VP of software engineering, board member and founder. I have 20 years experience as a team leader, primarily for development and maintenance, but also for testing and QA. Also 6 Years experience as product release manager for DOORS at QSS, and for rVoice at Rhetorical Systems, and as VP Software Engineering at Phonetic Arts. I held the role of test manager for 4 years. Having managed the build and release team and process, and signoff on product release. I have also been active in developing procedure and process for the various areas in which I have had team leadership. I have carried out countless interviews and recruited staff for QSS, Rhetorical, Daxtra Technologies, Phonetic Arts, Google and Voysis.
