About Ian Hunter

In over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, I have developed a diverse range of project and process management skills, in a variety of roles. For the past 24 years, located in Southern Germany, my responsibilities within both regional and global organizations, offered me daily opportunities to build relationships with colleagues spanning many different countries and cultures. For the past 10 years, I have been initiating and managing projects to deliver process improvement, designed and implemented new systems and web-based automation tools, for a global, off-shore, outsourced user audience. I approach my responsibilities with an independent, enthusiastic and open-minded attitude, a desire to challenge the standards and a drive to deliver requirements successfully. The nature of these responsibilities has demanded imagination, the ability to define and communicate concepts, then argue their merits based upon existing data and analysis. I have often had to manage or co-operate with diverse functions, such as sales, finance, business unit, administration, process owners and technical developers, where my calm, reasoned and persistent approach is effective in achieving the desired success.
