About Ian Kunkel

Ian Kunkel is a student now attending the University of California Santa Cruz, and will be a freshman this upcoming school year. He is always curious in learning new things and expanding his knowledge of various subjects, including history and biology. Much of his passion for biological sciences stems from his love of classes like biology and chemistry which he took in high school. His fondness of history has grown as he has read more books on various parts of history he enjoys. As he grew up he maintained this interest, with being set on pursuing biomedical engineering. In high school, with the ability to take a multitude of different and harder classes, Ian was able to follow up on his enjoyment of chemistry, mathematics, and biology. Working hard in all of his classes, Ian was able to succeed, knowing basic of biological science, high level calculus, and tons of history from reading, which will be crucial in succeed as he goes into college. Outside of school, Ian spends his time voluteering around the city or learning/picking up something knew like rock climbing or surfing. Ian also plays lacrosse for his school and loves watching other various sports.
