I’ve currently been working in an industry that is new to me and have been able to transfer many skills and knowledge to my current role to help me achieve in a new role, while learning new skills and knowledge. I am a motivated, adaptable and responsible individual with excellent communication skills both written and verbal and excellent customer service skills. During my present and past employment, I have successfully combined my skills and work that I have learnt showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have a clear logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and always eager to learn I have 19 years experience within the Hospitality industry, with 8 years experience as an Head Chef/Kitchen Manager. I've experienced different venues in my 8 years as Head Chef so that I could broaden my knowledge and skills. I have an ability of fault finding and trouble shooting to obtain organisation, structure and a motivated work force to produce good quality food in a fast paced environment. In my role I look for new ways to create new operations, materials and a routine which suits the team I have obtained. I've been self driven in enhancing my abilities by creating Documents and materials that can help venues run efficiently, creating Preparation spreadsheets, recipe matrixes and ergonomic layout plans that all team members can follow and get behind. In my role as Head Chef, I've achieved a great track record of consistent food safety, obtaining a rating of 5 on a yearly basis from NSF/EHO by using an in depth cleaning and monitoring system, in which is built into my teams. I've obtained good end of year results on sales, stocks and feedback, meeting each target set over a 4 week period.
