About Ian Lanksbury

I am an award-winning Creative Director with just over 30 years of experience. I have been instrumental in understanding the creative needs and outputs for my clients and.wait, wait, wait! What am I saying? I’m saying what I think you want me to say! This intro needs less ‘blah, blah, blah’ and more Too often you hear the terms ‘award-winning or ‘delivering effective solutions’ and you really want to believe they’re true, but you’ve heard it all too often and it just sounds like the same self-blustering bullsh**t. So what can I say about myself that doesn’t get you're ‘here’s the same bulls**t’ bells ringing? How about just being honest about how hard it sometimes can be to be creative and deliver a solution that really works. There are times that it is seemingly impossible, grafting for hours, carving a solution that can be rejected at a whim. What is required is enormous amounts of willpower, tenacity and a skin tougher than an old croc combined with an unrelenting drive to crack that brief with an idea that is unique, inspiring, and cost-effective. Some say I’m insightful, I prefer to say ‘I have a good eye, or two’. So when it comes to discovering and delivering an idea, I hit the bullseye and leave out the bullsh**t. Someone else can deliver that. Proof, as always, is in the pudding. Please contact me for a chat and to see a selection of fine puddings.
