About Ian MacPherson

Maps of our systems and processes bring them into the visual dimension and enrich the shared understanding for all stakeholders. Designing the world together with shared values is easier and accountability is greater when decisions can be traced along user journey maps. I'm a creative and adventurous soul, guided by five core values, and in pursuit of a deeper connection to my role as a designer/creator in manifesting healthy and vibrant communities. In the hopes of building a better a world, I've gained a deep appreciation for how systems and structures unrelentingly shape human experiences and reflect our values as a society. Currently, at Empowerment Squared, I am mapping our programs in MIRO, supporting the development of the South Western Ontario Black Entrepreneurship Network, managing our strategic initiatives and designing systems and processes to support our rapid growth. As an entrepreneur, I am proud to be the creator of u10sils - the first dishwasher safe silicone case for a crowd pleasing and a high quality cutlery set.
