About Ian McCue
Broadly, my research experience has sought to understand the therapeutic potential of mechanical stimuli. I have investigated role of tissue mechanics within the context of atherosclerosis. This work has led to discoveries both in vivo and in vitro that reveal the efficacy of mechanical cues to regulate endothelial cell biology away from pathology toward health and regeneration. My technical expertise spans from in vivo mouse models and tissue processing down to the molecular level of RNA and protein quantification.
