With nearly three decades of experience in wealth management, Ian has had the privilege of advising generations of families and business owners as they navigate complex financial landscapes. Today, he serves as Vice President at Mansha Plan, a boutique multi-family advisory firm focused on intergenerational wealth transfer, bespoke insurance strategies, asset management, group benefits, and business continuity planning. Their work is grounded in discretion, collaboration, and integrity—values I hold deeply. Over the years, Ian developed a reputation as a trusted connector—someone who listens closely, builds enduring relationships, and brings people and ideas together with intention. He takes pride in guiding clients through highly personalized solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term legacy goals. Whether it’s structuring a succession plan, designing insurance frameworks for asset protection, or mentoring the next generation on financial stewardship, his approach is always anchored in care, clarity, and impact. He brings this same commitment to my community involvement. As Co-Chair and Board Member of Square Circle, an arts-based charity supporting underserved youth in Toronto and Barbados, Ian helps guide strategic direction, donor partnerships, and growth initiatives. He is also actively involved with the Mansha Plan Foundation, advancing financial literacy and opportunity for youth through scholarships and outreach, and contribute to the State of Kindness Foundation’s scholarship selection committee. Earlier in his career, Ian spent 16 years as Vice President, Wealth Management at Manulife Investment Management, where he helped families build thoughtful investment portfolios and retirement strategies. That experience taught him the value of long-term vision, clear communication, and empathy in financial decision-making—principles he continues to champion every day. Ian lives in Toronto with his wife, Shireen. Outside of work, you’ll find him golfing, skiing in the backcountry, or planning the next adventure. He is a former marathoner who’s proudly completed the Boston and DC Marine Corps Marathons—and brings that same discipline and heart to everything he does.
