I am visionary leader with a passion for driving collaboration that advances scientific knowledge. My expertise spans product development, life science, data analysis, project management, team leadership, compliance, next generation sequence analysis, and bioinformatics. I excel in rolling out complex programs: analyzing and managing data, stewarding budgets, managing laboratories and other facilities, as well as presenting research to functional colleagues and peers. By drawing upon my communication and relationship building skills, I also excel in article writing, grant development, customer service, and public speaking as well at to coaching and train cross-teamsMy achievements include leading de novo sequencing, assembly, annotation, and analyses on 17+ eukaryotic genomes. My background as a Bioinformatic Scientist and Software Engineer, gives me a unique perspective to build cutting edge NGS IVD products. Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with colleagues to solve puzzles relating to cancer biology, microbiome analysis, and pathogen evolution. My formal qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biology.
