About Ian Mockridge

My tertiary qualifications are in Manufacturing, quality, systems design, new technology and project planning and along the course of my career I have obtained additional qualifications in Lean, OH & S, and coaching of people where I have had considerable success. My experience includes staff coaching, supply chain, planning, purchasing and expediting, assembly, manufacture, warehousing and dispatch. I specialise in manufacturing operations, particularly in the area of improving production efficiency and can deliver process improvements, logistics and warehousing, while producing quality products on time. I have a professional reputation for meeting deadlines and exceeding KPIs while managing the cost base to ensure I meet target budgets and achieve manufacturing recoveries. My leadership experience with mid-sized manufacturing, Courtalds, Multifabs, Jaeger knitware, Canterbury UK, fabrication organization’s such as Fisher and Paykel Healthcare, Accord Precisions, New Zealand Forgings and Chromalloy UK has allowed me to develop sound productivity strategies to meet differing requirements. As can be seen from my CV I am a strong, driven, enthusiastic, intelligent computer aware manager, able to add value to any organisation. In my most recent role at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare I managed over 77 unionised factory floor staff, overseeing productivity, budgetary, OH & S and industrial relations issues. In 2011, My wife and I bought a Management Rights Accommodation business in Australia and passed the cert IV in Property Services (Real Estate) course. The Business was rundown and the focus had moved away from the customer. Liaison with marketing, regulatory, financial, stakeholders, customers (we encourage regular feedback), employees and establishing credibility with owners and suppliers was required to build the Sylvan Beach resort back into a profitable operation. When I successfully find employment my wife will take over the running of the business.
