About Ian Moore

Ian Moore, MS MPH holds a BS in public health (Summa Cum Laude) from Northern Arizona University with a minor in chemistry, a MS in food and nutrition policy and programs, and a MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics from Tufts University. Throughout his time at Tufts he has gained experience in the subjects and intersections between nutrition, agriculture, the environment, and human health, along with research in these areas. He has also completed coursework in global health and epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health. Mr. Moore values advocating for health equity and social justice through public health and food systems change and strives to devote his career to reducing health disparities by conducting research and affecting change on both upstream and downstream factors which contribute to these inequities. Ultimately, he strives to improve planetary health as a whole with a lens of ecosocial theory. He has data analysis education and experience with Stata, R, SAS, ArcGIS, and QGIS. He also has creative skills in the Adobe Suite, including Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premier Pro.
