About Ian Priebe

I have a passion for solving problems. As a fourth-year Finance student, I see my future as a series of problems that I must effectively navigate. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to manage a $7,500 stock fund, raising the account value by over 40% within my first year. This opportunity ignited my passion for the financial industry and ultimately led me to my interest in real estate, being in a sense, a tangible form of finance. As a numbers-driven person, choosing companies to invest in became a problem that I could solve through analysis and research. In time I gained experience in understanding key factors that made companies successful and drove me to better understand investing. At the Kelley School of Business, I am continuing to develop my critical thinking and problem solving skills, as I pursue a career in real estate. I will continue to push myself towards success by doing what I have always been best at: solving one problem at a time.
