About Ian Proctor

I'm Ian Proctor, and I am committed to the pursuit of peaceful resolution to global conflict. I work at Creative Associates International as a Senior Business Development Manager with their Business Development Department. We focus on developing and delivering high-quality, competitive, and responsive proposals for USAID and other clients across our technical areas of focus. I previously worked with Catholic Relief services for over 8 years, most recently as the Acting Head of Programs with the CRS Central African Republic country office. Before that, I was the Technical Advisor for Social Cohesion and Justice with CRS' West Africa Regional Office (Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and The Gambia). I advised the organization's Country Programs to achieve the peacebuilding program objectives with their respective programs. I previously served as the Acting Business Development Specialist with the CRS Sudan Country Program, and before that I led the implementation of the RAID project in Central Darfur as well as promoted peacebuilding and resilience integration with all CRS programs in the country. Prior to my time overseas, I was a Senior Program Assistant with the United States Institute of Peace's (USIP) former Center for Applied Research on Conflict. I earned a master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, where I specialized in Conflict Analysis, Prevention, and Response. I am an AmeriCorps alum and attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate education, where I double-majored in Political Science and History.
