About Ian Reed

Most of my experience is in customer service or hospitality, where I feel I truly excel. I started working as a catering assistant, and have had a wide range of positions since, from serving, to prep cooking, cashiering, event coordinating, and working at Space Camp as a crew trainer! My degree is in Theater, specifically Stage Acting, but during my time at Montevallo, I also held many senior technical positions with in the department including Senior Lighting Technician, Assistant Stage Manager, and Stage Manager, all of which I enjoyed so thoroughly, I even went on to produce and direct an independent production as my Senior Project.I plan to continue furthering my education, pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling, with the hopes of becoming a Licensed Therapist, as I feel that my truest passion in life is helping people through difficult situations and even thrive.
