About Ian Roche

I have gained over 30 years electrical experience working in the UK & Australian construction industries along with working on international projects in the Middle-East and across Europe employed by various companies and agencies during this time. I have gained over twenty years’ experience as an electrical design engineer, electrical consultant & project manager and have extensive site experience having a trade background and numerous site-based professional roles. I have applied my previous site based electrical knowledge and experience to these roles to fast track my development leading to my present and past high-level positions. Although I have a very strong background in Building Services; I also have transferable skills as I have also undertaken project management, team management, asset management, facilities management, sustainability designer, cost consultancy and services infrastructure design & coordination (on civils projects) roles too. I have gained a well-rounded knowledge of the construction industry over the years during my career. I am experienced with working in both a site based and office based environments and I have worked for Contractors & Consultants in a range of Client facing roles. I am a good communicator and have experience working with and reporting to a number of major stakeholders including the wide-ranging Professional Team, Clients, Financiers and Statutory Authorities. As a Chartered Engineer, I now strive to give back to the industry the skills and experience that I can offer whilst keeping up to date with advancing technologies.
