About Ian S Ray

After more than 15 years in the classroom, I’ve come to realize that my true passion has always been designing meaningful learning experiences, not just delivering them. I’ve spent my career helping students connect with content in creative, engaging ways; often building my own curriculum, experimenting with interactive lessons, and using storytelling to make learning stick. Now, I’m following that thread into Instructional Design, where I can combine everything I’ve loved about teaching with new tools, technology, and audiences. My background has taught me how to break down complex ideas, manage projects on the fly, and connect with people from all walks of life. I also bring a mindfulness-based lens to my work, shaped by years of meditation and motivational speaking, which helps me create learning that’s not just informative; but human and inspiring. I believe learning should feel alive. Whether it’s through thoughtful digital content, inclusive design, or learner-centered strategy, I’m excited to build experiences that spark growth and confidence. If you’ve walked a similar path or want to connect around design, mindset, or learning that transforms, I’d love to hear from you.
