Background

About Ian Sayer

I’m a committed and driven professional with a strong passion for instrumentation and control systems. My career began as a technician in a Perspex manufacturing environment, where I gained hands‑on experience across instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical engineering, as well as chemical processing and factory operations. This early exposure helped me build a solid foundation in hazardous‑area equipment and intrinsic safety.I later transitioned into a technical sales and marketing role with a leading systems integrator, expanding my expertise into client relationship management, contract negotiation, and project management. This blend of technical depth and commercial experience allows me to bridge the gap between engineering solutions and business outcomes.
