Throughout my career, I have created new paths and opportunities by saying yes and not shying away from seemingly insurmountable challenges. I thrive in difficult, complex circumstances, in part because I love coming up with solutions no one has tried yet and delivering on aggressive business goals. I love encountering things I have no experience with and becoming consumed with learning all there is to know, which had led to success in multiple industries. I bring 10 years of diverse experience that spans mechanical and test engineering for market disrupters like Tesla/SolarCity as well as orchestrating a record turnaround for a struggling medical practice and playing a critical part in building one of the largest private orthopaedic practices in Southern California, OrthoWest. I am not afraid to take on challenging projects that are outside of my skillset, and I am passionate and steadfast with my work ethic. In 2017, I took a job at a small medical practice that needed help with IT and ended up leading a merger with multiple businesses. Before that, I started a medical device company for equine veterinarians and created a product from scratch that offered a safer, easier way to treat a prevalent veterinary issue, which I got placed into two U.S. teaching hospitals, first for testing and eventually as part of their academic programs. I pride myself on being an agent of change and executing ambitious business strategies, even in situations where there was no template for how to proceed. I am excited by new challenges and can manage complex, high-stakes situations and maintain calm in intense environments. Overall, I am motivated to be part of an innovative company that rewards out-of-the-box thinking, and I am lucky to have worked at organizations that weren’t afraid to put in the extra effort to solve issues in a different way.
