I am currently a research associate at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment in the Netherlands where I am responsible for conducting scientific research and provides unbiased expert advice and information to support the Dutch government, professionals, and the public in promoting health, well-being, and evidence-based policy. My doctoral research was in health economics looking at how to strengthen patient-centric decision-making throughout the drug development life cycle by utilizing patient preferences. My background is in Clinical and Health Psychology with a focus on behavior change and eHealth technology. My goal is to help the patient have a voice and be more involved in their care; be it through changes in which drugs are available, helping patients be more involved in shared decision-making process, tailoring patient care, or giving feedback on care received to make future improvements.
