Data Center team lead - Leader of a global team that provided support to customer's data center of application servers. I guided the change team's weekly activities, handled customer escalations, provided monthly metrics and reporting to management on weekly and monthly activities. Oversaw deployments for patch roll out for Microsoft's monthly patching cycle, planning resources and scheduling the quarterly patch cycles for Unix servers. Managing SA resources and vacations to provide a stable level of support to the customer and accommodate the server changes per month. The global team includes US based east coast System Administrators and remote-based System Administrators to provide 2nd and 3rd shift change activity. Provided mentoring and knowledge transfer that allowed the offshore team to understand the change management process. Worked with project managers, and engineers to upgrade hypervisor Infrastructure.Previous Enterprise projects I worked on was Windows Server consolidation and server refresh effort. I worked with the mid-range server platform customers to consolidate/migrate/upgrade these application servers to upgraded hypervisor services on Dell and HPE hardware running newer Windows Server OS.Prior projects include of the mid-range Windows server Problem Management team, working with the team to meet level of service contracts to Xerox for their Application server environment. Provided day to day troubleshooting, root cause analysis on server issues. Worked with hardware and software vendors to resolve day to day operational issues that arise.Specialties: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops LTSR, Windows Server platform, Hypervisor based virtual infrastructure, SAN, and MacOS.
