I have 24 years’ experience as a management housing professional working in the social sector. I have held senior management roles in Housing Maintenance and Repair Services and I have worked in partnership with Asset Management divisions and Housing Management services. The diversity across a wide range of services has allowed me to build a wide range of knowledge and experience both on a strategic and operational level. I have worked for Local Councils and Housing Associations within North Wales and started as a time served joiner building my career up by promotion into a senior management roles. I have a wide perspective on innovative working practice and commercial enterprise that can meet the strategic needs of competitive housing bodies in order to deliver excellent services to existing customers. I am an outstanding team member with a wide range of experience within the field of voids, responsive and planned housing maintenance and full refurbishment of all types of properties including large capital programmes such as bringing properties up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standards. I have a proven record in dealing with problem solving and working within tight budget constraints. I have the ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines and objectives. I have excellent communication and organizational skills along with the passion to succeed. I am innovative in my approach to problem solving and delivering to hard targets. I have extensive training, industry qualifications, and continue to ensure my professional development and knowledge is kept up to date. In additional to my working career I also manage a small development of commercial building which is family owned this includes reviewing lease agreements, Rents, and advertisement and managing all maintenance repairs
