About Iara Costa Moreira

Hey there! If you've made it this far, it's because you're curious to get to know me better. Isn't that right? Well, let me take you on a journey. I am someone who is deeply passionate about life and the environment, with a firm belief in sustainable development. My story begins in the heart of Rondônia, where I was born and raised in a rural area, surrounded by the vibrant wildlife that sparked my enduring love for nature. Growing up in such a setting, it was only natural that I sought a profession that could add value not just to me, but to the world. This passion led me to pursue and graduate in environmental engineering and occupational safety engineering. Since 2016, I've dedicated myself to minimizing environmental impacts and managing occupational risks in various projects within the electricity sector. My journey has taken me to thermoelectric power plants running on diesel, natural gas, and combined cycles, as well as hydroelectric plants and power substations across several states in Brazil. But my quest for knowledge and self-improvement didn't stop there. Recognizing the need to enhance my project management skills and always striving to be the best version of myself, I completed my MBA in Project Management from FGV/SP in 2023. So, nice to meet you! I'm Iara, and I'm excited to share my journey with you.
